Summary Of Position

The Group Client Head will be responsible for leading every aspect of Sales, P&L management & business strategy for the Life Sciences Segment. You will report into the Healthcare, Life Sciences & Insurance (HILS) Business Unit Head.

The role requires a business leader with a growth mindset with a strong focus on P&L and who excels in building multi-cultural and versatile teams, enable individual success leading to shared success and can be a role-model for long term sustainable client relationships.

The leader should have the ability to be a player-coach, where s/he can engage in the details as required and be hands-on; while at the same time, elevate to the strategic level where needed and provide leadership & guidance to the team members. In summary, the leader will enable the account team to meet and exceed business budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and vision to the Account team to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Assist in business development efforts to expand the client base and increase market share in the Life Science Business Segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
  • Implement best practices in IT service management, project management, and operational processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
  • Ensure the team is aligned with company values and goals.
  • Develop and manage the account budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Monitor financial performance, manage costs, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Maintain high standards of data security and privacy in accordance with appropriate laws and business requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to promote the company’s interests.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for the business segment.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in a client facing role or sales role in the IT professional services or management consulting firm.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Post Graduate Diploma in Management/MBA degree is preferred.
  • Experience managing quarterly revenue targets and pipeline management, leading the sales process from initial customer meeting through to proposal and contract closing alongside management.
  • Experience with the global service delivery model
  • Strong strategic planning and business development skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT services, solutions, and market trends.
  • Proven financial management and budgeting skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex business environments and drive change.
