Summary Of Position:

We are seeking a motivated and savvy senior manager of digital content strategy to join our marketing communications team. This role will work with our team of marketing and business leaders, serving as a strategic leader, owning the digital planning and implementation process to raise brand awareness, build pipeline, lead digital activation projects and grow our digital following. You will have deep knowledge of consumer trends and behaviours, an ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional partners, and a track record for globally-minded, culturally-relevant campaigns that gain media attention and consumer engagement. You will work cross-functionally with the division and region marketing teams to build lifecycle driven, automated, effective marketing plans globally. You will work closely together to develop strategic priorities for the Virtusa Brand and lead tactical execution with the help of your team. You will act as a champion for insights, spearhead marketing demand analytics, and attribution reporting, and be responsible for providing continual insights and recommendations on the optimization of funnel performance.

To excel in this role, you should have experience in managing strategy development, managing corporate social media presence, experience in building digital marketing campaigns/paid promotions, performing analysis to gain insights for digital transformation opportunities, and have excellent communication and presentation skills to communicate complex digital ideas in a simple way.


  • Serve as the liaison to all marketing business unit leaders for digital strategy planning and execution, act as a media buying liaison with our agency partners and manage digital and social media programs
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to gain consensus on program strategy, target audience, and objectives
  • Play a thought-leader role by sharing knowledge and best practices with both internal and external teams
  • Utilizing channel infrastructure and content development processes, you will drive the content development and execution process across our digital marketing programs and campaigns in collaboration with our content and creative teams
  • You will lead content planning exercises, including storyboarding, empathy mapping, scripting, content gap analyses, and experience prototyping to ensure the digital marketing team crafts practical, effective, and efficient experiences for our customers
  • Develops and directs consistent methodologies to analyze content consumption and performance data and define content needs, and identify value creation opportunities
  • Create engaging content and assets in collaboration with our content marketing and design team members; translate existing content into new content opportunities across digital channels
  • Develop customer journey maps, create segmented and personalized content marketing plans aligned to the customer journey
  • Lead the creation of well-articulated thought leadership assets that present an innovative POV; Continually identify ways to innovate content creation and distribution
  • Oversee our employee advocacy program globally to position us as Employer of choice and extend our reach in authentic ways
  • Respond to audience preferences, stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms & digital trends
  • Champion customer care; Facilitate online conversations and respond to queries


  • Proven work experience as a digital and social media professional
  • You are passionate about writing, sharing, and connecting - storytelling is in your DNA
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms for a global audience
  • In-depth knowledge of reporting and presenting key metrics
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, as well as image and video ideas)
  • Experience in executing and optimizing paid social media campaigns
  • Experience with digital marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Excellent communication skills, clearly communicate strategic ideas in a simple manner
  • Strong critical thinker, Multitasking and analytical skills
  • BS degree in Marketing, media, or relevant field preferred
