Position Summary
Virtusa is seeking a seasoned Healthcare (Payer) Consulting Leader to spearhead client engagements, sales, and revenue growth across North America. This role is ideal for a senior-level healthcare expert with a proven background in consulting-led transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a unique combination of domain expertise, strategic vision, and client-centric delivery leadership to help expand Virtusa’s presence in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth by leading consulting engagements, developing solution strategies, and partnering with Sales and Account teams to generate new business.
- Lead high-impact client workshops, providing strategic insights and influencing key stakeholders.
- Serve as a domain expert to incubate and scale repeatable solutions and innovative offerings within the payer ecosystem.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of healthcare consultants, driving talent development and operational excellence.
- Contribute to brand visibility through analyst briefings, thought leadership, and representation at industry forums.
- Originate and shape complex deals by aligning client needs with Virtusa’s healthcare consulting capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience
- 20+ years of experience in the Healthcare Payer domain with broad, cross-functional industry expertise.
- Proven success in leading strategic consulting engagements for major payer organizations.
- Strong experience as a Product Owner, driving new offering development and go-to-market initiatives.
- Demonstrated capability to mentor and manage large consulting teams (20+ members).
- Strategic deal-shaping expertise in partnership with business development and sales leaders.
- Effective communicator with executive presence, influencing C-suite decision-makers.
- Thought leader with contributions through whitepapers, webinars, and industry events.
