Description

Responsibilities

  • Candidate will be the accountability owner to conceptualize, drive solution, and ensure delivery of a complex multi-year Data modernization program covering Cloud migration, data asset rationalization, modern visualization, analytics, and Data delivery
  • Candidate will work with CTO, CDO, CIO and other senior executives of customer and their end users to define requirements and solution strategy
  • Candidate will Lead and mentor other team members of the program
  • Candidate will work with internal Virtusas internal larger Data and Analytics practice and external technology partners in undertesting latest technology trends and offerings and incorporate them in solutions for clients

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the space of Data Warehouse and BI
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in architecture of modern data platforms using technologies such as Big Data and Cloud
  • Should have led and directly managed teams of 30+ people
  • Should have experience working and advising clients CXOs
  • Excellent facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills, including the ability to gain cross-departmental consensus
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in data governance, data management and data architecture
  • Strong knowledge of business processes, information management, data flows, data relationships, and data quality standards.
  • Initiative and ability to use technical knowledge to identify and address key issues, and determine resolution strategies aligned to business needs
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal); ability to communicate and present to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical
  • Strong data modelling experience
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Experience working on OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) is preferable
