· Develop application in Pega 8.8.x and above versions in Insurance domain.
· 8+ years of experience in developments
· Experience in Insurance domain.
· Experience in PEGA Upgrade projects.
· Prior NYL product knowledge is a plus (Preferably Past NYL with knowledge in Life, LTC , AARP LOBs and Products)
· Knowledge on CPMI Framework
· Duties and responsibilities (The highlighted ones are mandatory skills)
· Pega Senior Systems Architect Certification.
· Define, develop, document, and maintain governance for use of Pega.
· Be well versed with Pega concepts and technology roadmap.
· Deep understanding of Core Pega including Pega version 7.x/8.x platform experience
· Collaborate in a cross-functional team environment to ensure corporate-wide settings/configurations are aligned with business requirements.
· Suggest alternatives to custom solutions to render Pega out of the box solutions.
· Perform code review for Pega solutions and functionality.
· Connect with product vendors for product bug, fixes, and next/new updates.
· Experience with process methodology, development methodologies (Agile, SDLC, Iterative) strongly preferred.
· Experience in full Pega implementation cycle
· Enforce best practices in PEGA architecture /design /coding.
· Ability to work and communicate effectively with programmers and other IT staff and non IT functional areas.
· Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
