Database & Tableau Developer
In this project, the tableau reports are developed using SQL views created from the data sources. Client need someone to analyze the current Tableau implementation, see the possibility of getting data directly from the data sources, instead of consuming the data from the views. It is quite challenging for them to maintain/ enhance the Tableau reports today due to the way the reports/ data sources are constructed historically.
Expected skills
Very good SQL knowledge/ ability to understand/ create complex SQLs
Generate Tableau reports
Understand data (data analysis/ mapping knowledge)
Experience on PLSQL / postgresql .
Fair knowledge on Data warehouse concepts , All tableau reports use DW views / m-view and tables.
Able to do Performance analysis on SQL queries for long running reports
Better understand of the data base structure ( schemas / tables / views/ m-views )
Able to work on report query changes. ( for reports new field additions , need to select required fields from the report query and modify the report layout)
Knowledge on select query execution using pgadmin data tool
Excellent communication skills
Experience working in agile environment/ a good team player
Need to be committed, accountable and have a positive attitude.
