Description

Typically 10 plus years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience using. net C# or Java
Work will include all aspects of software engineering lifecycle concentrated with middleware development using Java/J2EE/Spring/JSP/Struts platform and databases
Strong understanding of financial markets.
Demonstrated knowledge of .Net, SQL Server, Java, C++ and HTML software, coding practices, support, de-bugging and maintenance
Support and maintain existing application interfaces using middleware tools
Design and develop new interfaces for a wide variety of business applications and write functional and technical specs
Communicate directly with other IT application owners to provide middleware technical support and assistance
Participate in version upgrades and migrations of the middleware tools
Introduce new technologies to enhance the middleware tools infrastructure environment
Building web applications
Lead root cause analysis of software defects
