Senior Data and Analytics Engineer
Our organization is looking for an Senior Software engineer to help build and transition a Data and Reporting platform to the cloud to support equity compensation products for the Global markets. This person will play a key role in building, testing and release of product features in Agile delivery fashion.
The Team
You will be part of the technology team in Stock Plan Services business unit that administers equity compensation programs on behalf of public and private companies offering various compensations programs such as: Employee Stock Purchase Plans, Restricted Stock Awards/Units, Stock Option Plans, Stock Appreciation Rights and Performance based Awards.
Currently SPS services approx. 2M participants employed by over 300 clients and spread out in 150 countries. The business is looking to further expand in the international equity compensation markets. As part of that we are modernizing our legacy reporting and business intelligence platform to provide data and reports in real-time running on cloud-ready stack.
The Data and Analytics Engineer works with the Product Owner, architects and other engineers to design and build data transformation code and reporting solutions using ETL and business intelligence tools. You bring knowledge and expertise with various tools in data engineering and analytics space.
The Expertise You Have
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in a technology related field
5+ years experience in OBIEE-v12c and OAS helpful
Strong working knowledge of ETL and Informatica preferred
Advanced experience with PL/SQL and complex queries, views, packages etc.
Experience with modern Object-Oriented Programming Languages like Java, Scala, Python would be a huge plus
Understanding of DevOps concepts including CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins is a plus
Experience with cloud native data warehousing and data lake solutions using Redshift, Snowflake, etc. is a plus
