Description

Responsibilities:
Analyze functional requirements to translate into application design using established design methodologies and guidelines
Analyze process/program specification and translate specifications to program codes conforming to program guidelines and programming best practices
Develop unit test package, execute test & document test results to ensure the quality of the program
Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly and efficiently.
Assist in the integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing and implementation activities to fix the reported problem/bugs of the system to ensure the smooth execution of programs in the respective environments
Prepare and maintain up to date system documentation
Good team work player and able to liaise with the onsite/offshore team model to deliver the required artifacts
Required Skills:
Strong experience in Java REST API and web services development
Experience in Oracle database and query performance tuning to support Java API performance
Optimize query/response performance of the APIs (pagination, caching)
Writing Unix Shell scripts and Perl scripts for data processing
Creating and scheduling batch jobs using Autosys
Version control using Bitbucket and RLM deployments.
Nice to Have Skills
Working experience with technical background
Experience in international and multicultural environment
