Senior ETL DataStage developer.
Required Skills & Experience:
8 + Years of Data Warehousing Experience
7 + Years of Strong development experience with DataStage
3 + Years of DataStage 11. 5 or Higher
4 + Years of DataStage Parallel Job Design with expertise in designing parallel jobs using various stages like Join, Merge, Lookup, Remove duplicates, Filter, Dataset, Lookup file set, Complex flat file, Modify, Aggregator, XML, MQ, Hierarchical etc.
7 + Years of writing complex SQL, PL/SQL queries around Data Analysis, Data Lineage & Reconciliation preferably in Oracle
5 + Years of creating Data Lineage documents, Source to Target (STM) Mapping documents and Low-Level Technical Specification Documents
4 + Years of design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/data marts.
7 + Years of shell scripts development as per the business logic.
Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
Ability to analyze customer requirements and transform them into technical design specifications
Experience developing projects that have high level of complexity, being responsible for structuring the work, prioritizing and assigning project tasks, providing guidance and resolving issues.
Experience with Information Analyzer, Business Glossary and Metadata Work Bench Preferable
Desired Skills/Experience:
Life Insurance Industry Experience a huge plus
Keen ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments
Experience working in an On-site/Off-site Development Model
