Role Name:

Senior Developer (T2)

A seasoned PLSQL Senior Developer who involved in complete application development Lifecyle using industry leading tools and frameworks, and process oriented

Experience:

Minimum 6 years of Experience

Primary Skill Set:

  • Strong design and programming skills in SQL and PLSQL
  • Efficient in designing and build application using joins, cursors, triggers, views, functions, stored procedures, packages
  • Good experience in designing and writing queries using sub queries, materialized views, collections, and exception handling
  • Strong experience in designing physical and logical data model following the standards and industry best practices
  • Exposure to debugging, session trace and explain plan techniques
  • Good experience in batch job development/bulk data processing and executions with a scheduler
  • Good Client/Server development experience using majorly Oracle databases
  • Good knowledge on basic UNIX commands and scripting
  • Good experience/knowledge in performance monitoring and tuning techniques, and using tools like AWR, ASH, ADDR etc. ,
  • Good experience in debugging, performance tuning and ability to decode the plan of a query

Secondary Skill Set:

  • Work collaboratively with QA engineers through participation in testing process
  • Provide inputs to Tech Leads/Architects
  • Knowledge on XML and JSON is preferable
  • Knowledge on J2EE technologies, application servers, RESTful and SOAP web services and database integration with them is preferable
  • Exposure to any NoSQL database

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, and unit testing of applications using PLSQL with good programming practices and coding conventions
  • Design applications/modules using data normalization, modularity, code reusability, loose coupling, and high cohesion principles
  • Analyze issues, debugging, troubleshooting, and fixing them, and enhancing code on new and legacy code
  • Quickly learn and develop expertise in complex existing applications and architectures
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership on the modules and/or system, guide/mentor other team members
  • Participate and adhere to Agile Scrum model and collaborate with other team members for quality delivery
