Description
Responsibilities: Design and develop tools to standardize and automate monitoring, application support activities
SME support along with advanced troubleshooting skills
Initiatives that improve productivity and result in efficiencies
Environment automation, reusable tools
Providing design inputs and code reviews
Contribute to technical direction in solving high priority tickets
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Managing support services and change management using ServiceNow application

Required Skills: Minimum 6+ years of experience in BigData administration using KAKFA and related tools like Spark etc.
Minimum 4 years of experience in setting up the environment for solutions that collects and process data using Kafka/Spark, Scala
Expert on Kafka/Big Data solutions along with sound understanding of Kafka architecture
Good knowledge of Unix Shell scripting
Good exposure of infrastructure setup and capacity planning
Expertise in process automation and CICD
Strong ability to work in a highly focused technical environment together with other motivated and driven professionals, as well as the ability to work independently.
Must have experience in participating in the management of multiple concurrent initiatives while relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline

Nice to Have Skills: Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Good presentation skills
