In this role, you will:
Work with senior developers, Tech Lead & Project Managers to determine size, scope, impacts, risks for projects to be delivered from Pune
Analyse and implement solutions
Coordinate with other IT teams and represent the application in engineering and architect forums
Independently work on development tasks and actively work with development manager and BA to propose solutions
Implement tooling and automation wherever there is opportunity
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Technical
Excellent grasp on Core Java, J2EE technologies, Micro services Architecture, REST APIs
Vert.X and/or Spring Framework (Core, Batch and Integration, security modules).
Exposure to JMS, Message Oriented Middleware technologies e.g. IBM MQ, Active MQ, Solace.
Exposure to UNIX systems commands and shell scripting and python.
Hands on knowledge in DevOps tooling like Jenkins, Sonar etc, creating CICD pipelines
XML, XSL, XQuery, Parsing techniques.
Having worked on development and build tools such as Gradle, GIT, IntelliJ, Eclipses etc.
Exposure on Design Patterns and related implementation
Handson in nosql DB (MongoDB) and exposure to relational DB like postgress, Oracle
Good to have knowledge of cloud native technologies.
Execution
8+ years of IT experience in successfully delivering complex technology solutions within a defined Software/Systems development lifecycle in Banking Industry.
Experience in AGILE methodology, status reports, progress tracking, issues/risks lists, and deployment and release management.
Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills.
Strong relationship management skills with proven history in dealing with stakeholders and globally distributed project teams
Willingness to engage with business users and key IT stakeholders outside of direct area of responsibility and manage expectations.
Self motivated, enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capability
Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Exposure to Capacity Planning, Disaster Recovery, BCP planning etc.
Ability to define, collect and analyse metrics for development projects
