Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborating with stakeholders, such as business users, project managers, and development teams, to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
Conducting workshops, interviews, and surveys to elicit and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
Analysing and prioritizing requirements based on business value, feasibility, and technical constraints.
Documentation and Specification:
Creating clear and comprehensive requirement documents, such as user stories, use cases, process flows, and system requirements specifications.
Developing wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to visually represent the proposed solutions and user interfaces.
Collaborating with design and development teams to ensure that requirements are well understood and effectively implemented.
Technical Solution Design:
Working closely with technical architects and development teams to design the technical aspects of the solution.
Providing insights and recommendations on system architecture, technology selection, and integration approaches.
Identifying dependencies, risks, and potential impacts of the proposed solutions.
Stakeholder Communication:
Facilitating communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and effectively communicated.
Presenting technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
Project Management Support:
Assisting project managers in planning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities related to requirements analysis and solution design.
Participating in project meetings, providing updates on requirements status, and addressing any issues or risks.
Supporting the testing and quality assurance activities by reviewing test plans and test cases, and validating that the implemented solutions meet the defined requirements.
Continuous Improvement and Collaboration:
Identifying process improvements and recommending best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of requirements analysis and solution design.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business, development, and testing teams, to foster a collaborative and iterative approach to software development.
Domain Knowledge and Technical Expertise:
Acquiring a deep understanding of the business domain, industry trends, and technological advancements relevant to the organization.
Staying updated with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to make informed decisions and recommendations.
Qualifications External/Internal
Prior experience working in a DevOps environment
Demonstrable experience in ITIL Operations / Service Management
Experience of working in agile, lean and cloud environments
Strong Web based application development and production support / service recovery experience preferably in banking / financial domain
Good understanding of APM tools Splunk, AppDynamics
A good understanding of the project development lifecycle and project management and planning and experience in managing the architectural elements of a project plan
Ability to balance conflicting and changing demands through prioritization and a pragmatic approach
