Job description
Key Responsibilities Design develop and execute test plans and test cases for mobile applications. Perform functional regression performance and usability testing across a wide range of devices and OS versions Develop and maintain mobile test automation frameworks using tools such as Appium XCUITest, Espresso, or similar Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and early defect detection. Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr. Conduct compatibility testing across various devices, screen sizes, and network conditions. Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated mobile testing. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers and contribute to QA process improvements. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 4 to 6 years of experience in software QA, with at least 2+ years in mobile testing. Strong knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS and Android), including app lifecycle, UI/UX standards, and platform guidelines. Experience with mobile automation tools and scripting. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices. .
Experience in testing using cloud-based simulators.
Database knowledge, particularly for validating backend data, will be an added advantage.
