Test Planning and Execution Review and understand business requirements, functional specifications, and technical specifications to create test cases and test scripts. Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases for web and mobile applications, covering all functional and non-functional aspects. Execute test scenarios, document results, and report defects in the defect tracking system (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.). Defect Reporting and Tracking Identify, record, and manage defects in the software. Work closely with the development team to reproduce and resolve issues. Ensure defects are properly logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner. Collaboration Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other agile ceremonies to understand the product development lifecycle. Regression and Retesting Perform regression testing to ensure previously developed and tested software still works after changes. Perform retesting of resolved defects and new features. Documentation Maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports. Provide detailed test summaries and status reports to stakeholders. Continuous Improvement Suggest improvements to the testing process, tools, and practices. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing.
