Job description
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using CATT for back office modules, covering regression, functional, and version upgrade testing
Validate end to end post trade workflows including trade enrichment, settlement instruction generation, matching, and accounting events
Perform upgrade readiness testing ensuring successful migration of configurations, templates, and interfaces between Calypso versions
Execute regression and integration testing for enhancements, patches, and release cycles
Collaborate with development, business analysis, and environment support teams to troubleshoot and validate test results
Utilise Calypsos pre built BO test case repository and enhance with custom automation scripts for client specific workflows
Document test results, maintain a CATT test case repository, and manage defect lifecycle using JIRA or equivalent tools
Work with business and operations teams to simulate real world trade lifecycle and settlement processing scenarios
Contribute to continuous improvement through automation optimisation and test data management
Required Skills and Experience
Mandatory hands on experience in Calypso Automated Testing Tool (CATT) for Back Office testing and Calypso version upgrade validation
Strong functional understanding of Calypso Back Office modules: Settlements, Confirmations, Payments, Accounting, Messaging, and Reconciliation
Proficiency in CATT test creation, maintenance, and automation suite execution
Experience in SQL (Oracle/MS SQL) for backend validation and Unix scripting for environment checks and log analysis
Good understanding of trade lifecycle for FX, Fixed Income, Money Markets, and Derivatives
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Exposure to Calypso interfaces and middleware testing (MQ, JMS, file based feeds)
Experience in CI/CD based test automation or integration of CATT with DevOps tools
Understanding of Agile testing practices and test management using JIRA / HP ALM
