Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Project Manager (Tech PM) with over 12 years of experience to lead and manage end-to-end data migration projects and cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS technologies. The ideal candidate has extensive experience executing Agile-based projects, managing cross-functional teams, and driving successful project deliveries. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder management skills and expertise in release management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution:
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans and ensure adherence to project schedules.
Oversee data migration and AWS cloud implementation projects, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Data Migration and Cloud Expertise:
Lead large-scale data migration initiatives from legacy systems to modern platforms.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable AWS cloud solutions.
Identify and mitigate technical challenges related to data migration and cloud integration.
Agile Project Management:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Drive the adoption of Agile best practices to ensure efficient project delivery.
Serve as the Scrum Master when needed, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
Communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to align project goals with business objectives.
Release Management:
Coordinate and manage release cycles, ensuring seamless deployment of updates and solutions.
Ensure proper documentation, testing, and sign-offs are completed prior to releases.
Track release schedules and resolve dependencies to maintain delivery timelines.
Risk and Issue Management:
Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during project execution to ensure smooth delivery.
Team Collaboration:
Lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Provide technical guidance to team members, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 12 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in project management roles.
Proven expertise in data migration and working with AWS cloud technologies.
Extensive experience in managing Agile-based projects.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
Experience in data migration strategies, ETL pipelines, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.
Project Management Skills:
Certified in Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or similar Agile certifications.
Expertise in release planning and management.
