Job Title: Technical Architect Data Design & Management

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect with over 12 years of experience specializing in data design, management, and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in ETL pipelines, data governance frameworks, and data quality processes, combined with strong knowledge of AWS cloud technologies. This role also favors proficiency in modern data tools and platforms such as DBT, Airflow, Python, Redshift, Power BI, and Spark SQL. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize scalable data architectures that meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture and Design:
Define and implement scalable data architecture and data models that align with business and technical requirements.
Drive the design and management of data pipelines, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and define strategies for data integration and warehousing.
ETL and Data Management:
Oversee the development and optimization of ETL workflows to ingest, transform, and load data across systems.
Ensure data integrity and consistency through robust data quality checks and validation processes.
Data Governance:
Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
Define and monitor data privacy, security, and compliance standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Cloud Architecture (AWS):
Design and implement analytics solutions using tools such as Power BI and Spark SQL.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
Work with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure alignment with business goals.
Partner with DevOps and cloud teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and ensure robust deployment practices.
Key Skills and Qualifications

Experience:
12+ years of experience in data architecture, data design, and ETL development.
Proven expertise in data governance and data quality management.
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
Mandatory Skills:
ETL tools and processes (e.g., Glue, Informatica, or Talend).
Data governance frameworks and data quality checks.
Strong understanding of data modeling (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL).
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in modern data tools like DBT and Airflow.
Hands-on experience with Python for scripting and automation.
Knowledge of AWS Redshift, Power BI, Spark SQL, and big data frameworks.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications

Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty.
Data Governance or Data Management certifications (e.g., DAMA).
Experience with big data platforms and analytics solutions.
Exposure to DevOps practices for data engineering pipelines.
