We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio ETL Lead who can not only design and implement ETL solutions but also perform data analysis and production support activities. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end development lifecycle of ETL processes while providing leadership on data analysis tasks to ensure accurate and actionable insights. Additionally, the role involves providing production support to maintain the stability and performance of critical data pipelines.
ETL Design & Development:
Lead the design, development, and optimization of ETL workflows using Ab Initio to support data integration and business intelligence needs.
Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate complex business requirements into efficient data solutions.
Ensure the scalability, performance, and reusability of ETL processes.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices within the team.
Production Support:
Monitor the ETL environment, ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of data pipelines in production.
Lead efforts to diagnose and troubleshoot production issues, including incident management, root cause analysis, and implementing solutions Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) for production support and ensure timely resolution of data and system issues.
Coordinate on-call production support to address critical incidents and outages.
Document production support procedures, issue logs, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
Required Skills:
8+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL tools in both development and production environments.
Strong knowledge of ETL design principles, data integration, and data warehousing concepts.
Proven experience in data analysis, including querying large data sets, generating reports, and providing actionable insights.
Proficiency in SQL and working with databases such as Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, or similar.
Experience with Unix/Linux scripting
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, and metadata management.
Expertise in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production support issues.
Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
