Description
Delivering effective solution designs for Origin, Foundation and Consumption Data Products
Designing end-to-end data solutions to meet business needs within the context of a broader solution implementation
Reviewing design artefacts from Data Product Build design team and delivery teams
Producing required design artefacts, independently or as part of a team
Define/design different data domains across the bank and how do they interoperate with each other.
Define/Contribute to synthetic data strategy that can interoperate with different data domains.
Collaborating with the business, programmes teams and Group Data Office to help refine data requirements and presenting to the Bank`s Architecture Review Board
Providing support to and engage with dependant programme solution architects to ensure alignment with end to end solution des ign
Reviewing requirements and monitor change requests to ensure that the solution design is fit for purpose
Skills & Experience
Highly experienced solution architect in designing solutions for large-scale data warehouse projects and programmes working in complex, multi-vendor change delivery organisations
Deep data/data-warehousing knowledge and experience particularly on the GCP platform or similar technology
Experience in modern engineering practices and technologies
Experience with Data Modelling (Logical and Physical), data modelling tools, ETL and enterprise reporting tools
Continuous improvement and innovative mind-set
Financial services experience would be advantageous
Broad experience in complex enterprise IT estates with an ability to add value to projects and programmes quickly
Ability to work independently
Ability to take a lead role and take ownership of complex integration deliveries
