Responsibilities
Designing, implementing and maintaining Java-based applications that include REST services
Work with development leads, System Architects and other teams (as needed) to manage dependencies, risks and issues contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
Participate in code reviews and complete automated unit testing
Provide up to date status about the current tasks in Daily standups.
Support testers and defect resolution
Give support and work with other departments Teams who do related tasks for the project.
Writing testable, scalable and efficient code
Maintain up to date code documentation
Work with Project management and Scrum tools on a daily basis.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 Years of experience in designing and developing web services Java, Spring framework
Minimum 3 years of experience in developing REST services using Spring Boot
Minimum 3 years of experience in working with popular databases such as SQL Server or Oracle
Experience in developing and consuming SOAP and REST services.
Experience in implementing Spring Security
Experience in unit testing frameworks like jUnit, Mockito
Experience in using ORM frameworks like myBatis and Hibernate
Experience in containerized applications such as Docker and Kubernetes
Understanding and Experience in Spring Batch
Experience in working with Cloud Environments such as AWS
Knowledge of AWS batch is nice to have
Experience in creating design documentation using UML
Experience in working with Agile methodologies and related tools such as Jira
