The ServiceNow Technical Lead will play a critical role in the technical implementation of ServiceNow projects, ensuring high quality solutions that meet client expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and have a proven track record in ServiceNow development and customization.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, including hands on experience with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or custom applications.
3+ years of experience in a lead or senior developer role, overseeing the technical development and implementation of complex ServiceNow projects.
Proven experience in designing and delivering solutions across multiple ServiceNow modules and domains.
Skills:
Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform capabilities, including Glide scripting, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Flow Designer.
Proficiency with ServiceNow APIs (REST, SOAP) and experience integrating thirdparty applications.
Deep understanding of ServiceNow data models, workflows, catalog items, and CMDB.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS) and experience with ServiceNows Service Portal and UI Builder.
Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex platform and integration issues.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, and Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD) are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands on experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
Experience in managing ServiceNow upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of security and compliance considerations within ServiceNow implementations.
