Ensure all manufacturing apps (e.g. MES, ERP, SCADA, WMS) comply with EA principles, best practices, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISA 95).
Oversee design, implementation, and integration of manufacturing systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices for networking, security, and deployment.
Establish and monitor KPIs like MTTR, system uptime, time to resolution, production downtime, and time to recover to optimize manufacturing system performance.
Ensure manufacturing systems resilience and scalability through high availability architecture, disaster recovery strategies, and downtime reduction processes, ensuring continuity of operations.
Advise on smart manufacturing integration, including IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies, to improve operational efficiency and support SCADA and industrial protocols for real-time system monitoring.
Define integration standards and processes for Mulesoft middleware to enable seamless, secure, and scalable data exchange across manufacturing apps.
Develop and enforce security frameworks for manufacturing apps, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards to protect operational data.
Ensure compliance with manufacturing industry regulations and standards, reducing risks related to noncompliance and supporting audit traceability.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing lean methodologies to optimize system deployment cycles and minimize disruptions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, and vendors to align on solution design, integration, and deployment.
15+ years of overall experience in IT, with 10+ years as an Enterprise Architect in the manufacturing domain.
Experience with manufacturing apps such as ERP, MES, SCADA, WMS, and PLM, with integration in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of KPIs for manufacturing apps, such as MTTR, system uptime, time to deploy updates, production downtime, and system latency.
Expertise in EA governance and frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, ensuring all projects align with established best practices.
Familiarity with manufacturing regulations like ISO 9001, ISA-95, and other relevant standards.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0, IoT, and smart manufacturing technologies.
Experience using Mulesoft or similar integration middleware to streamline communication between enterprise systems.
Strong understanding of networking architectures for manufacturing environments, including SCADA, IoT, and industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, and Ethernet/IP.
Experience in disaster recovery planning and backup strategies to ensure continuity of operations and minimize downtime in manufacturing environments.
Expertise in designing deployment architectures for manufacturing systems that ensure minimal disruption and high availability.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, and inter-process relationships to optimize workflows and system integration.
Knowledge of networking, data integrity, and security frameworks for manufacturing applications, ensuring robust and compliant system interactions.
Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
Expertise in cloud platforms (preferably Azure) for deploying and scaling manufacturing applications in a hybrid cloud environment

Advocate for organizational reuse of technologies solutions and patterns challenging process differences and ensuring a seamless integration of regional needs into global solution development roadmaps. Champion architects and domain experts to contribute to the architecture knowledge base actively leading the evolution and adoption of architecture best practices principles and reference patterns. Maintain a thought leadership view of existing solutions and emerging technologies providing expert advice to team members on both immediate and long term strategic influences.
Knowledge in ERP SAP or others Take part in Databricks simulation activities that involves Modeling Analysis and Simulate complex systems and scenarios.
Engaging with diverse group of stakeholders across Global and Regional IT team IT Business Relationship Manager Business Development Stakeholders and eventually Solution Architects.
Provide architecture vision and strategy especially for New Technology Introduction
Initial architecture assessment HLD POCs etc. are handled by EA before it is handed over to SA for LLD
Participate in ARB CAB meetings to attain approvals over identified Technology HLD LLD etc.
Modernizing O9 on prem to AKS Azure Kubernetes Service.
Minimum Qualifications of University degree in Computer Science IT Business or related field.
12 years of progressive IT architecture experience demonstrating mastery in business data application and technology disciplines.
Indepth practical understanding of an industrial company IT ecosystem from manufacturing and supply chain to EHS and finance functional solutions key interdependencies and data flows.
Demonstrated ability to formulate and communicate a clear business unit level technology strategy in alignment with overarching business objectives articulating potential alternatives costs benefits and tradeoffs.
Proven interpersonal skills to influence a diverse range of technical and nontechnical stakeholders including executive leadership.
Track record of contributing to the development and implementation of high impact organizational initiatives translating architectural decisions into tangible business outcomes.
Expertise in leading evaluation and onboarding of new technologies including definition and execution of POCs and MVPs.
Handson experience in designing solutions and creating architecture work products, leveraging architecture best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Practical proficiency with SAFE and TOGAF frameworks complemented by an understanding of WCM Lean and or Six Sigma business methodologies.
Experience working in a global context understanding and addressing the unique challenges and opportunities that arise in a multinational business environment.
Previous involvement in IT regional leadership roles showcasing a broad perspective and comprehensive understanding of diverse IT landscapes. Recognition as an inspiring leader in the enterprise architecture domain evidenced by publications conference presentations, or active participation in industry forums and communities. Experience with crafting or overseeing solution architecture with Microsoft Azure and on prem hybrid cloud environments.
Demonstrated execution of projects using both Agile and Waterfall IT methodologies
