• This role may include support of an aggressive closing schedule. Closing of books of accounts with high accuracy and meeting month end timelines. • Manage high performance team in offshore (India) that is responsible for various general accounting duties including but not limited to lease accounting, Sales commission, intercompany, bank reconciliations and other accounts. o Preparing balance sheet account schedules and reconciliations. o Fixed assets capitalization, maintaining FAR. o Ensure inter-company accruals/schedules are up to date and provide quality information for reporting. o Preparing Variance Analysis to Profit & Loss account. o Handling Audit queries and other management review queries independently. o Knowledge on Accounting Standards & GAAPs (Ind AS & USGAAP) • Lead team in driving efficiencies through process mapping and continuous improvement and automation. Ensure results and improvements in all processes. • Responsible for coordination and management of Financial and SOX audits and quarterly reviews and compliance with internal controls. Provide audit support and analysis • Responsible to partner with payroll team to ensure correct accounting for payroll transactions • Responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statement footnotes for international and local statutory reports. • Participate in monthly close process by reviewing and reporting analytical movements and significant transactions and ensuring integrity of transactions and data in Oracle. • Monthly Reporting & Reconciliations account including analytical review and validation of movements • Research and Analysis of accounts as requested by management and calculate and execute true ups a needed • Own and Manage various Oracle accounting & reporting accounts as identified • Perform detail accounting analysis & process related Journal Entries related to General Ledger Accounts • Manager and lead Special Projects as requested • Responsible to develop and lead a team of direct reports • Report on IBM service issues and quality defects • Work directly with consultants in Big Four and Internal Auditors • Ensure compliance with all deliverable due dates and timelines |
