DevOps Engineer - CREQ198970
Description
We are seeking experienced DevOps Platform Engineers to collaborate with the Project Manager in the migration of applications from old servers to new servers. Our team is committed to delivering excellence and ensuring seamless transitions for critical platforms, including Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Jfrog Artifactory, SonarQube, and Crowd.Execute the Migrations of the platforms from old servers to new servers with any business impactCollaborate with the Internal Infra Demand Team to procure new servers for the migration project.
Coordinate with the Architecture team to obtain the Solution Blueprints approved.
Validate the newly procured infrastructure, including servers and configurations, to ensure readiness for application migration.
Lead the migration of applications from old servers to new servers, ensuring minimal disruption to services and maintaining platform integrity.
Raise change requests and implement effective change management processes in coordination with the Project Manager, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and minimizing operational impact.
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and other team members to achieve project objectives and deliver successful outcomes.
Ensure the reliability and performance of DevOps platforms, proactively identifying and addressing any potential issues to maintain optimal platform functionality.
Collaborate with the Project Manager and other team members to develop and implement platform reliability improvements, including automation and monitoring solutions.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of platform documentation, including standard operating procedures and best practices, to support ongoing platform reliability and operational efficiency.
Participate in incident response and resolution activities, working to minimize platform downtime and impact on end users.
Engage in continuous learning and skills development to stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and platform reliability.
Lead post-migration reviews and evaluations to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvements.Proficiency in managing and supporting DevOps platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, and Crowd.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of infrastructure validation and application migration processes, with a focus on ensuring platform stability and reliability.
Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles and practices, with the ability to effectively raise and implement change requests.
Excellent team player with strong communication skills capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience in infrastructure validation, application migration, and supporting DevOps platforms.Minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps platforms management, with a focus on infrastructure or server migration projects.
