Detailed Job Description for MS Teams (Support Engineer / SME) at Chennai, TN:
· 2nd line incident resolution of applications and data issues related to MS Teams and related services.
· Significant Knowledge on MS Teams support, deployment, migration & configuration experience.
· Good understanding of Teams Direct Routing.
· Good understanding in Hybrid environment (Teams online/sfb online).
· Proactive management of the global infrastructure to maximize performance and reliability.
· Ensure system integrity, security and recoverability.
Primary Skills
1. Microsoft Teams Expertise
o Deep understanding of MS Teams functionalities, features, and integrations.
2. Deployment and Configuration
o Experience with deploying and configuring MS Teams in various environments (cloud, hybrid, on-premises).
o Familiarity with Microsoft 365 admin centre and PowerShell for Teams management.
3. Migration Skills
o Knowledge of migration strategies and tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams Migration Tool, SharePoint migration).
o Experience with planning and executing migrations from Skype for Business or other platforms to Teams.
4. Troubleshooting and Support
o Strong troubleshooting skills for MS Teams issues, including connectivity, performance, and user permissions.
o Experience providing end-user support and training for Teams users.
5. Collaboration Tools Integration
