Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced L2 Application Support Engineer with expertise in .Net technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in troubleshooting enterprise applications built on .Net Framework and .Net Core. The role involves incident management, root cause analysis, system monitoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain application stability. The candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced 24x7 production support environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2 support for enterprise applications built on .Net technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to C#, ASP.Net, MVC, and SQL databases.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Monitor logs and troubleshoot application errors using Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar tools.
Manage incidents and service requests through ticketing tools like ServiceNow and Jira.
Assist with deployments and production releases using CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or uDeploy.
Ensure compliance with ITIL Change Management practices.
Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams for performance optimization.
Provide regular updates to business users and stakeholders on issue resolution.
Document SOPs and maintain a knowledge base for recurring issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in .Net Framework, .Net Core, C#, ASP.Net, MVC.
Strong SQL skills with experience in SQL Server / Oracle databases.
Understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services troubleshooting.
Familiarity with log monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, ITRS.
Experience with job scheduling tools like Autosys.
Tools & Technology:
Hands-on experience with incident management tools like ServiceNow, Jira.
Experience with deployment tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or uDeploy.
Exposure to scripting languages like PowerShell, Python is a plus.
Domain Knowledge:
Experience in supporting applications in the Life science.
Understanding of compliance and security requirements for production support in regulated environments.

Experience with cloud-native services such as Azure Functions, AWS Lambda.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes.
Exposure to ITIL best practices and certification is a plus.
