Conduct thorough assessments of existing environments to identify potential issues, areas for improvement, and compatibility considerations.
Manage timelines and deliverables while coordinating migration activities with stakeholders.
Technical Expertise:
Provide expert-level support and configuration for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including the latest technologies and features in 2203 LTSR.
Implement best practices for Citrix environment design, performance tuning, and security while focusing on operational efficiency.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) infrastructure, including installation, configuration, management, and imaging processes.
Assist in creating and maintaining master images for PVS, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with company standards.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Analyse and resolve complex technical issues related to Citrix infrastructure and PVS, using systematic troubleshooting methodologies.
Provide timely support to end-users and IT staff during the migration process, ensuring a smooth transition and addressing concerns proactively.
Documentation and Training:
Create detailed documentation for architectural designs, migration plans, PVS imaging strategies, and standard operating procedures.
Identify new features and functionalities available in Citrix 2203 LTSR, as well as best practices related to PVS imaging and management.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including networking, security, and application support, to ensure a seamless migration process and integration of services.
Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment of goals and deliverables
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Citrix 1912 LTSR and 2203 LTSR architectures and components.
Expertise in PVS infrastructure, including provisioning, image management, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking principles.
Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, etc.) for automation tasks. JD for Citrix Senior engineer
