Chaos Engineer

Design, develop, and execute controlled chaos experiments to simulate various failure scenarios, including network outages, service disruptions, and resource exhaustion. Work with other solution architects to identify and mitigate risks associated with system reliability. Analyze the results of chaos experiments and identify areas for improvement. Hands-on experience in tools like Gremlin, Litmus, AWS Fault Injection simulator etc. Automate chaos experiments to make them repeatable and scalable. Monitor and analyze the impact of chaos experiments on system behavior, application performance, and user experience. Capture SRE metrics like SLI,SLO, etc. Collaborate with software engineers, system architects, and DevOps teams to validate resilience improvements based on chaos testing insights. Develop and maintain documentation related to chaos engineering processes, experiment results, and best practices. Automate chaos experiments and build testing frameworks to streamline the chaos engineering workflow. Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to identify opportunities for chaos testing to prevent future failures. Contribute to the overall system reliability initiatives by providing insights and recommendations based on chaos engineering findings. Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with distributed systems. Experience with monitoring and observability tools. Communicate the results of chaos experiments to stakeholders. Stay up to date on the latest chaos engineering practices and tools
