Description

Proven experience in building, and maintaining API driven test frameworks and automated test suites
Proven hands on experience of web development technologies such as Java, JavaScript, jQuery, Jenkins and React
Experience in Behavior Driven Development using Cucumber or similar open source tools.
Experience with open source tools like Selenium or similar testing tool
Competency in database queries, SQL etc.
Knowledge of continuous integration and testing with Bamboo, Jenkins or equivalent
Demonstrable experience and understanding of agile development practices, JIRA and Confluence, and Git or Bitbucket, DevOps or similar distributed source control systems
The proven ability to learn new tools and ways of working is required, and experience with our chosen toolset is highly beneficial
Preferable experience with CI CD in Docker containerization or OpenShift, microservices, stubs for running tests
Experience with Performance and Volume testing would be considered as beneficial not essential
Improve automation scripts for regression testing across multiple platforms withing the squad where applicable to minimise regression testing time .
Soft skills
Communication skills must possess good communication skills and be able to navigate ambiguity. A problem solver by tackling complex problems
Banking Trading and working on complex integrated systems experience will be an added advantage
