Test Automation: Implement and manage test automation frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage for data solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements, identify testing needs, and address issues throughout the development lifecycle.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data through rigorous testing processes and validation techniques.
Issue Resolution: Identify, document, and track defects or issues, coordinating with relevant teams to facilitate timely resolution and retesting.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports, ensuring comprehensive documentation of testing activities and results.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of data testing methodologies, data warehousing concepts, and Azure services (e.g., Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database).
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks for data testing, such as Azure DevOps, Selenium, or similar.
Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of testers.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Certifications related to Azure (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate) or quality assurance are highly desirable.
