BI Developer

Duties & responsibilities:
Independently develops, executes and monitors complex data management / analytic processes to support ad hoc data and information delivery for assigned projects.
Spearheads development of ETL code, metadata definitions, and models, queries and reports, schedules, work processes, and maintenance procedures and proactively identifies opportunities to optimize the performance and efficiency of existing processes/procedures.
Perform the unit testing, system integration testing and assist with user acceptance testing.
Articulates business requirements in sufficient detail such that a technical solution can be designed and engineered.
Develops a technical understanding of how the data flows from various source systems and source types to a modeled database solution in the data warehouse after a series of transformations and data manipulations.
Consults with the business to develop documentation and communication materials to ensure accurate usage and interpretation of JLL data.
Support the daily ETL process for data across multiple countries to ensure that batch processes are successful and meet the SLAs for the execution and data delivery.
Identifies and acquires new data sources, performs data discovery to understand data values and relationships, and develops prototype solutions to deliver immediate business value.

Key skills:
Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in the fields of information science, data management and/or computer science.
Demonstrated experience with ETL and programming languages and their application (such as SQL, Informatica, Stored procedures, SSIS, etc.)
Good knowledge of job scheduling and job monitoring on enterprise scheduling software tools like CTLM or SQL server job schedulers.
Good Experience with Informatica PC and knowledge of Informatica IDQ is a plus
Knowledge of data transfer tools like GoAnywhere is a plus
Experience with data architecture, data integration/ETL, data warehousing, and/or business intelligence deployed in a complex environment.
Experience in working with databases especially SQL server databases.
Understanding of data and systems engineering concepts to effectively integrate and analyze data to develop actionable business information deliverables.
Expertise with tools such as SQL Server Management Studio and other SQL tools.
