JOB DESCRIPTION
Skill: SEO Technical Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Work with and take direction from SEO strategists, business analysts, and data scientists to understand technical SEO issues that need to be addressed
- Be the bridge between business units, development, and IT teams to advocate for SEO solutioning, and help provide scalable solutions with the greatest impact to SEO
- Work with the development and IT teams to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented in code for both new and existing pages and features
- Partner with business analysts to understand progress against defects and enhancements, and keep the team apprised of planned updates from conception to resolution
- Support implementation of SEO-related fixes or enhancements to accelerate how search engines see content and display it within the search engine results pages
- Assist with QA and testing activities for SEO implementations
- Perform technical SEO audits of Ciso.com
- Contribute to monitoring search industry changes and updates, especially those applicable to technical SEO
- Contribute to overall Cisco.com success through additional one-off SEO projects and tasks.
Requirements:
-Previous experience in similar role (3+ years)
-Working knowledge of technical SEO best practices (including sitemaps, canonicalization, Schema.org, JavaScript, page experience signals (including Core Web Vitals), accessibility, crawlability, indexing, rendering)
-Strong understanding of technical SEO application to localization best practices
-Hands on experience working on enterprise-level websites with a global digital footprint
-Hands on experience working on software or SaaS websites a plus
-Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Tableau, and Screaming Frog and/or DeepCrawl. Experience with Log Files or Splunk a plus
-Experience with Jira and Agile Methodology a plus
-Ability to collect, process, and manipulate large datasets
-Fluent in Excel, databases, visualization tools, and working with large data sets
-Ability to multitask and manage multiple work streams
-Effective cross-functional communication skills
-Ability to follow specifications
-Ability to tailor deliverables to various audiences based on the audience knowledge
-Ability to convey highly technical concepts to various audiences including IT, Development, leadership and business owners
