What will your day look like As a Journey Expert Regulatory Reporting, your key responsibilities will include:- • Support APRA’s Basel III and comprehensive credit data collection initiatives to successfully deliver reporting outcomes • Effective Stakeholder engagement across risk and finance areas to understand and document key business requirements • Acquiring deep understanding of APRA EFS/Capital reporting standards and producing summarised interpretation • Data analysis and tailoring solutions as per key business requirements • Engagement with technology teams to deliver outcomes stated in requirements • UAT testing and producing comparable analysis for business signoffs • Drive efficiency initiatives through continuous improvements of existing processes • Showcasing commercial acumen and an ability to ‘see the bigger picture’ • Working in a dynamic, diverse environment and adapting to change
What will you bring? To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: • Depth of experience to lead more complex work requirements within the Program’ • Strong relevant experience preferred • Prior finance change experience in financial /regulatory/risk domains • Thorough knowledge of financial statement concepts and experience with APRA’s regulatory standards • Highly effective verbal and written communications with ability to influence others • Adaptable and able to operate effectively in a changing environment and take on new initiatives • High level of both internal and external stakeholder engagement • Effective data querying skills and proficiency in SQL, Confluence, JIRA and agile methodologies • Strong knowledge of source systems preferred • CA/CPA/CFA/FRM educational qualification desired |
