Virtusa Announces Success of Pega-Virtusa BPM Practice
 


Virtusa Corporation announced at PegaWORLD 2006 the successes of its recently launched joint Pega-Virtusa Business Process Management (BPM) practice. PegaWORLD 2006, a thought leadership event focused on learning and leveraging Business Process Management, took place at the World Trade Center in Boston from October 18 – 20.

Virtusa Partners With U21Global to Provide Global Business Leadership Certification to Managers
 


Virtusa has signed an agreement with U21Global, the world’s premier online Graduate School, to offer advanced global business leadership learning to Virtusa employees worldwide.

PegaWORLD 2006 a Spectacular Success for Virtusa
 

Virtusa was a Platinum Sponsor of PegaWORLD 2006, an exclusive three-day thought leadership event focused on learning and leveraging Business Process Management.

The event took place at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston from October 18 – 2. Executives, business architects, process managers, developers, and analysts from some of the world’s most innovative companies were present at PegaWORLD to discuss and learn how to use BPM to achieve growth and a competitive advantage.

As a Pega partner Virtusa had a pedestal at the Technology and Partner Pavilion where a power point presentation, banner and marketing materials were displayed and team members were present to network and present Virtusa’s capabilities.
 
Virtusa India Brings Joy to Underprivileged Children
   
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility plan in India, over 50 Virtusans volunteered for a Diwali celebration event with the school children of Zilla Parishad Central Primary and High School in Hyderabad.

Virtusa India 'adopted' the two schools last year and assisted in the maintenance and upkeep of the school, providing teachers and a housekeeper. Future areas of assistance include providing furniture, fans, learning material, sports equipment etc.
 
Santanu Paul Speaks on Core Competence and Global Partnerships
   
On October 13, NASSCOM conducted a Forum titled ‘Focus on Core Competence and Build through Global Partnerships’.

The National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM), is India's the premier trade body and the chamber of commerce of the IT software and services industry in India, a global trade body with over 1050 members, of which over 150 are global companies from the US, UK, EU, Japan and China.
